DREW GREEN
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Drew Green is carving out his own lane with a genre-blending mix of country, pop, and R&B. First gaining recognition as a songwriter, Green quickly stepped into the spotlight as an artist with the 2020 releases “Little More Be Alright” and “Right Where I Be,” both featured on his debut EP Dirt Boy, Vol. 1. He followed up with Dirt Boy, Vol. 2 in 2021, which included the streaming hit “Hooch,” and continued to build momentum with the soulful 2022 single “Good Ol’ Man.”
Born in McMinnville, Tennessee, Green was raised on a tree farm where his love for music was shaped early on by country legends like Sammy Kershaw and Alan Jackson. As a teenager, his influences expanded to include artists such as Usher, Craig David, Matchbox Twenty, and Dr. Dre, helping shape his distinctive sound. He played in bands during high school and continued developing his songwriting craft through college before making the move to Nashville.
While pursuing his music career, Green performed in the house band at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge and worked a day job at a bank. His persistence paid off when he began gaining traction as a songwriter, co-writing songs including Florida Georgia Line’s “Colorado.” In 2018, he signed a publishing deal with Cornman Music, followed by a recording contract with Villa 40/Sony Music Nashville in 2020.
Since then, Green has steadily built a reputation for his smooth vocals, relatable storytelling, and cross-genre appeal. In 2023, he continued releasing new music including “Prayer List,” “Yep,” and “Best Ex I Ever Had,” while touring across the U.S. With his upcoming single “Lotta Bit Of You” already gaining traction on TikTok, Drew Green is poised for an even bigger breakout.
