Owen Morton is a Liverpool-based country singer who brings a fresh perspective to the scene with his silky smooth vocals, classic scouse banter, and a longing to bring the sound of neo-traditional country music to the shores of the UK - aiming to blend well with modern day artists like Cody Johnson, John Pardi and Zach Top.

His debut album, arriving in October 2025, promises to be a bold moment for the UK country scene. Rooted in a rich neo-traditional sound, his songwriting channels the spirit of all his honky tonk heroes - capturing the heartache of George Jones, the wit of Brad Paisley, the rowdy edge of Waylon Jennings, and the romance of Keith Whitley. For fans of neo-trad country, it’s on-track to be a landmark release and a defining step forward in Owen’s journey as an artist.

In 2024, whilst finding his stylistic feet in his first year as an artist, Owen delivered a folk and country-pop discography that touches upon the highs and lows of real life, giving listeners a versatile and relatable musical experience. Collaborating heavily with established US artist Swilson, he was able to amass over 400,000 Spotify streams and a fanbase that continues to grow thanks to singles like “One More Shot”, “Leave Me Alone” and “Cowboy Dreams”.

So far, 2025 has been a remarkable year for Owen. His recent duet with UK country powerhouse Georgia Nevada “Never Wanna Be Without You” has proven to be a fan favourite, winning ‘Track Of The Week’ and reportedly leaving Cheshire’s Mix 56’s team “spellbound”. What’s more, he has already been booked to play several major UK country festivals and events this year, giving fans ample opportunities to see him live, all over the UK.

With no sign of slowing down, this part-time sailor/part-time country singer is creating waves in the industry that are being felt on both sides of the Atlantic.
