  • WHEN IS COUNTRY CALLING?
    Country Calling takes place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August 2025. Gates open at 11am and the festival closes at 11:00pm.
  • WHERE IS COUNTRY CALLING HELD?
    Country Calling is hosted at Hylands Estate, Chelmsford, Essex (Writtle Entrance off of Greenbury Way – A414), CM2 8FS – Follow signs for Hylands Park NOT Hylands House (No access to the event from the London Road Entrance)
  • IS THERE ONSITE PARKING AVAILABLE?
    There is paid for parking onsite and please ensure you select a parking pass at checkout if required.
  • WHERE IS THE NEAREST TRAIN STATION?
    The nearest train station is Chelmsford just a short ride away.
  • CAN I BRING CHILDREN?
    Absolutely, Country Calling is a festival for the whole family and children are very welcome when accompanied by an adult.
  • WHAT HAPPENS IF IT'S RAINING?
    Being an outdoor musical festival taking place in the summer months, Country Calling will continue come rain or shine. Please dress appropriately.
  • CAN I BRING MY OWN CAMPING CHAIR?
    Yes, small camping chairs are permitted in designated areas only, no chairs allowed in front of the stages and will be removed immediately.
  • CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK?
    No food and drink can be taken on the festival site unless there is a medical requirement. We encourage you to use some of our incredible venders who will be providing a wide range of food to suit everyone.
  • CAN I BRING MY OWN WATER BOTTLE?
    Yes, guests may bring an empty water bottle to refill at our water refill points. Please note all water bottles must be empty before entry.
  • IS THERE A VIP AREA?
    Yes there is VIP section but tickets for this area are limited to ensure en exclusive experience for our guests. VIP tickets include: Skip the queues with our dedicated VIP entry point. Free parking Access to a dedicated limited capacity VIP area by the side of the main stage with great views of all performance. Premium toilet facilities. Lots of lounge seating. Dedicated VIP bar and catering area. Meet and greet with selected artists.
  • WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
    Country Calling is full day experience with lots to do for Country fans of all ages including: Full day of international and homegrown performances across multiple stages. Multiple bars and food outlets. Merchandise stalls. Meet and greet area with select artists. Funfair Line dancing lessons in our Music Hall.
  • ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
    Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this year's festival.
  • IS THERE A SHUTTLE SERVICE?
    Yes, there will be a shuttle service running from Chelmsford to Country Calling and back each day. Furhter information will be released nearer the event.
  • IS THE FESTIVAL LICENSED?
    Yes, the Festival is fully licensed – please do not bring alcohol with you as it will only be confiscated and will not be returned, and the offending party may be ejected from the Festival Site for the remainder of the Festival. Only alcohol purchased from the bars at the Festival may be consumed at the Festival Site. If you wish to consume alcohol, you must have a valid proof of age photo ID. You must be of legal age (18) years) to purchase and consume alcohol on the Festival Site. If you are found to be supplying or buying alcohol for a Minor, you will be evicted from the Festival and may be referred to Police.
  • CAN I BRING A CAMERA?
    You can bring small personal digital cameras. Professional photography equipment (e.g. telephoto lenses; any lenses over 20cm; any detachable lens) is not okay and will not be allowed at the Festival without Promoter-issued media accreditation. Festival staff will determine at their discretion whether something is professional photography equipment so if you’re not sure, then we suggest you leave it at home. Photos of artists and/or the Festival are permitted only on the basis that: Images are only used for private and personal use Images cannot be made available for sale / for charity and/or public display
  • PROHIBITED ITEMS?
    The following items are prohibited from the festival: Glass/Ceramic Cameras or filming equipment with a lens larger than 6 inches. Drones Illegal substances Legal highs Paper lanterns Perfume or aftershave in bottles larger than 100ml Confederate flags Flags or banners displaying offensive messaging Clothing or accessories that promote cultural appropriation
  • CAN I CANCEL OR AMEND MY TICKETS?
    Once booked, tickets for the event are non-cancellable and non-refundable. Tickets cannot be amended once booked.
  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    1. General Terms 1.1. By purchasing a ticket to Country Calling Festival, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions as set by Wild Promotions Limited. 1.2. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice. 2. Tickets 2.1. Tickets are strictly non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-amendable. 2.2. Tickets must be purchased in advance; no tickets will be sold at the event gates. 2.3. Admission to the event requires a valid ticket and government-issued photo ID. 2.4. Country Calling Festival operates under a Challenge 25 policy—guests appearing under 25 years of age will be required to show valid photo ID upon entry. 2.5. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult ticket holder. 3. Event Policies 3.1. The festival will proceed in all weather conditions; no refunds will be issued due to adverse weather. 3.2. The promoter reserves the right to: • Amend the event lineup at their discretion. • Alter the timing of performances, facilities, or lineup without liability to the ticket holder. 3.3. If the event is cancelled by the promoter, guests will be offered entrance to an alternative event. Booking fees are non-refundable. 3.4. The promoter, or their agents, reserve the right to refuse entry or enforce eviction from the festival site without liability or refund. 4. Admission Requirements 4.1. Admission is subject to search; refusal to comply with a search may result in denial of entry. 4.2. Possession of prohibited items may lead to refusal of entry or involvement of law enforcement. 4.3. Prohibited items are not permitted within the festival gates. 4.4. Unauthorised professional photography, audio, or video recording is strictly prohibited. 5. Alcohol and Re-Entry 5.1. Heavily intoxicated guests due to drugs or alcohol will be denied entry. 6. Liability 6.1. Wild Promotions Limited is not liable for damages, losses, or injuries sustained during the festival, except as required by law. 6.2. The event is held subject to the appropriate licenses from relevant authorities. 7. Personal Data 7.1. Personal information collected during ticket purchases, applications, or registrations is controlled by Wild Promotions Limited. 7.2. Data will be used only for the specified purposes made clear at the time of collection. 7.3. Personal data may be shared with trusted third parties solely for necessary processing purposes, including but not limited to: • Showmentix (ticketing and accreditation). • Companies within the same group structure as Wild Promotions Limited. 7.4. All personal data is handled in compliance with relevant data protection laws. 8. Guest Responsibilities 8.1. Guests are responsible for verifying festival gate opening times. Arrivals outside of operating hours will not be facilitated, and no refunds will be provided. 8.2. Guests are expected to respect the festival policies and staff. Violations may result in removal from the event without refund. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.   • DO UNDER 18'S NEED A TICKET?
    Country Calling UK is an all-ages event. However, all children aged under 18 years of age (Minors) must be accompanied at all times in the Festival Site by a responsible adult, parent or guardian. Tickets for Minors can only be purchased with an Adult (18+) Ticket. There are two ticket options for children, Infant and Child. Please see our ticket pages for more details. You will be required to present proof of age for all minors. A copy of a birth certificate is an acceptable proof of age. All Adults (18+) must have valid proof of age photo ID to purchase or consume alcohol in the Festival Site. Digital licenses are accepted as a form of ID. You will need to open the app and login in to show security. Screenshots will not be accepted.
  • IS THE FESTIVAL SITE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
    The site is based on a grass field, we will have some track in places around the site, unfortunately we cannot cover the entire area.
  • ARE THERE ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?
    There will be dedicated Blue badge parking at the festival
  • IS THERE A DEDICATED ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE TO THE FESTIVAL?
    Yes, there will be dedicated access available.
  • IS THERE AN ACCESSIBLE VIEWING AREA?
    Yes there will be a raised viewing area on a first come, first serve basis.
  • IS THERE ANY CAMPING?
    There is no camping available onsite this year, however there are multiple campsite in the local area.
  • ARE THERE HOTELS NEARBY?
    Yes Chelmsford City centre is close by and has lots of hotels available.
