JACK BROWNING
Jack Browning is a London-based singer-songwriter and painter whose work moves fluidly between country, folk, blues, and rock ’n’ roll. Equally at home on the road, in the recording studio, or at the easel, Jack has quickly built a reputation on both sides of the Atlantic for emotionally honest songwriting and a restless creative drive. His music has drawn comparisons to Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt, Tom Petty, John Prine, and Bruce Springsteen - rooted in tradition, but unmistakably his own.
Jack began touring in his teens, cutting his teeth on stages across the UK and Europe and sharing early bills with artists such as Jeff Beck, Joss Stone, and Gregory Porter. Before music became his full-time path, he worked construction - an experience that continues to shape his writing. His songs are grounded, introspective, and unafraid to explore blue-collar life, mental health, love, loss, and the pull of the open road.
His 2023 debut album, Red Eye Radio, became a word-of-mouth breakthrough, praised for its raw, lived-in storytelling. A heavy run of touring followed, including major festival appearances at Red Rooster and Black Deer (UK), TakeRoot and Ramblin’ Roots (Netherlands), and Little Sandy Shakedown (US). Jack’s first US tour took him through Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana, and he has since toured or shared bills with artists including Asleep At The Wheel, Vincent Neil Emerson, Corb Lund, Willi Carlisle, and JP Harris.
Momentum continued through 2025 with mostly sold-out headline shows across the Netherlands, a standout slot at London’s Country2Country Festival, and a packed Creekside Stage at Laurel Cove Music Festival. That summer he returned to Kentucky to close out a night at Healing Appalachia, appearing alongside Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, and Lukas Nelson.
Jack’s sophomore album, Painted Skies, arrives in 2026. Expanding both sonically and emotionally, the record explores life on the road, growing visibility, love and loss, artistic identity, and the complicated bond between father and son. Early singles have already drawn praise from Whispering Bob Harris, Whiskey Riff, Country Central, Holler, and American Songwriter, with regular airplay on BBC Radio 2 and even a live studio appearance on the invitation of presenter Cerys Matthews. The release will be supported by Jack’s first full UK headline tour, further dates across north-west Europe, and return trips to the US including Texas Music Revolution and the Master Musicians Festival.
Alongside music, Jack is an accomplished fine artist whose work has been exhibited and sold internationally. His paintings have appeared at the Taos Art Museum’s Summer Gala, sold out a solo exhibition at Western Gallery (TX), and featured at Mark Maggiori’s prestigious Far West Show in Austin alongside artists such as Glenn Dean and Jeremy Lipking. He has also created album artwork for The White Buffalo.
Whether on stage or on canvas, Jack Browning’s work is driven by feeling, craft, and a commitment to honest human storytelling — capturing the beauty, damage, and quiet hope found along the way.
